"John Davis Cabin In Summer"

This is the second painting that I have done on this historical log cabin at t5he Living Farm Museum and visitor center at Oconoluftee on the south side of the GSMNP.  The cabin was built by John Davis in 1850 and later occupied by the Queen family.  The whole farm is a fascinating view into the world of the Appalachian settler of the 1800's
