"Caldwell House In Past"
This old house is maintained by the NPS out in Cataloochee Valley on the eastern end of the national park. It now has a pale blue roof and the trees at the front corners are gone. In this painting I took it back into the past based on older photographs. The Caldwell name was well known in the valley & this house was quite a mansion "back in the day".
