Love the history of the Walker family who lived close to the Little Schoolhouse at Metcalf Bottoms in what is now the Great Smoky National Park. The sisters lived a self sufficient life style in an ever-changing world. The springhouse is especially symbolic for me. Great hike, only 2.2 miles round trip
